The Primary Care Rheumatology Society (PCR) was 1986 by a group of general practitioners with a special interest in Rheumatology. PCR's aims are to improve education in Rheumatology in general practice, to set up relevant research topics, to increase communication between hospital rheumatologists and other relevant health professionals, with the ultimate aim of improving care for patients with rheumatic disease.
