Business Description
The Macmillan Unit was the inspiration of Dr Ronnie Fisher a Consultant Anaesthetist at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Bournemouth in the early 1970's. He became convinced that something better could be done for the terminal cancer patients and convinced the Health Authority to bear the costs of operating such a facility if public support could build and equip it.
