Swindon Counselling Service was established in 1987. We provide a confidential, high quality and professional counselling service for Individuals and Couples aged 18 and over from Swindon and the surrounding areas. We are accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and operate under their "Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy", a copy of which is available from ourselves or the BACP.
We are a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee.

Services

We are a not-for-profit company and offer counselling to Individuals and Couples with fees based on your ability to pay.

INDIVIDUALS: Typically, people in full-time employment contribute £40 per session and an unemployed single parent contributes £15 per session; during the initial assessment session we discuss with you, your proposed contribution.

COUPLES: The contribution for Couples is £50 per session; this can be reduced where hardship can be demonstrated.

Counselling for Individuals and Couples.
For Individuals, we offer an initial assessment session of 1 1/2 to 2 hours, the contribution for this is £40 for people in full-time employment and £25 for an unemployed single parent.

Qualifications

We are accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and operate under their "Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy", a copy of which is available from ourselves or the BACP.

Staff & Management

As a registered charity, we have a Board of Trustees and are run by a Management Group, supported by various Committees, etc.
