Business Description

Stitches in Time is a visual and textile community arts organisation. Established in 1993, it is based in Tower Hamlets and we work borough-wide as well as across London on community development, education and commissions. Stitches in Time provides a forum to enable culturally diverse groups to work together, running educational development programmes to raise levels of achievement, confidence levels and skill-based learning for women, young people and older people. Our work includes partnerships between individuals within the voluntary, statutory and private sectors, and enhancing cohesion across cultural and generational divides. FabricWorks is the training and enterprise arm of Stitches in Time.
