Snakey Sue's Serpent Sanctuary started taking in snakes in 1996 before that she was an entertainer (Belly Dancer) since 1978. With the help of volunteers we have set up a sister voluntary service "HERP" Herpetological Educational Rescue Project.

Services

We take in peoples unwanted pet snakes and rehome those we can. Some are calm enough to meet the public others have to stay in the sanctuary as they are unsuitable for rehoming or socialising. We take the snakes out on live snake encounters

Qualifications

Snakey Sue has run the sanctuary since 1996 and has been an entertainer since 1978 - she is qualified by experience in dealing with the public and snakes.

Staff & Management

Snakey Sue runs the sanctuary and the educational presentations and has various volunteers and helpers to help care for the snakes and help with the presentations, all volunteers are hand picked for their social skills in helping the public to overcome any fear of snakes.
