Products

The Kumon program has been developed over a number of years in Japan and internationally.It's based on graded worksheets with targets for time and accuracy, always at the right level for that child.
In maths we range from counting to calculus;in English we cover writing, spelling, punctuation, vocabulary building and reading comprehension.Extracts from a variety of real books are included: stories,manuals,scientific writing and advertising.

Qualifications

Kumon is increasingly well known both in Britain and internationally.Though it started in the Far East it has successfully taken root in such diverse countries as South Africa,Brazil, Germany and Canada- and more than 2 million students have come through the program worldwide!

Staff & Management

I have been a fully qualified Kumon instructor since 1995;I have also worked as a teacher of English and an OFSTED inspector.My own 3 children have all done the Kumon program.
Most of my staff are young people who have themselves spent considerable time as my Kumon students, so they understand very well the importance of hard work, perseverance and tenacity.

A huge range of students have benefited from Kumon-everyone from the young boy who was statemented for maths (and went on to do A-level!)to the high flyers who get on to GCSE level work while still in in primary school----and everyone else in between.The unique nature of Kumon is its flexibility to tailor study to the child's need.
