La Barbe is a truly authentic French restaurant in the Reigate and Redhill area of Surrey. Our traditional French restaurant was established in 1982, and since then we have developed an excellent reputation for serving delicious French food in a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere.

We cater also for a range of different occasions including weddings, Christening, special occasions and corporate events. As you would expect for the best French restaurants, we also have an extensive wine list including fabulous wines that will truly complement your meal.

Our Head Chef Romain Havard uses only the finest, freshest ingredients and source as many local produce as possible to create seasonal dishes that are all freshly prepared in our kitchen .

Staff & Management
Head Chef - Romain Havard, 27, was born, bred and trained in Normandy. After 6 years spent at the Lycée Hotelier Maurice Marland learning the ropes, he worked in different Michelin restaurants around Normandy and Brittany to gain practical experience before moving to the UK.
Restaurant Manager - Gurvan Quelo, 33 was born and bread in Brittany. After finishing is Catering School in France he moved accross the Channel to work as a waiter in Le Poussin in the New Forest and very quickly came up the ranks to become assistant Manager. He moved to the Nutfield Priory in Surrey as assistant Food and Beverage Manager before joining La Barbe 8 years ago.
