IET was formed in 1986 and its main function is the design and manufacture of high performance electronic Access Control Systems in the UK. We are an ISO 9000 company with an in house development team and offer a range of products from simple off-line single door controllers up to sophisticated on-line computer controlled networked systems. We manufacture both Magnetic Stripe and Proximity card readers of our own and are able to supply third party cards and readers as well. For Hotel and halls of residence we have a new generation of controllers which can be used with our Spindle Lock and can use electromagnetic coupling for power and data between the door and the controller as well as running with normal readers and locks. These systems offer a major saving in installation and equipment costs.
