Business Description

Established in 1990, Black Rock Outdoors Ltd specialises in outdoor activities in Somerset. Our sessions are a great way to experience something new or to progress and develop skills. Many activities are based at our Activity Centre which is just ten minutes from J24 on the M5. Others are run in different parts of Somerset or the UK.

We take bookings from groups of four or more for half or full day sessions, mixed activity days or over a few days. We also run residential activity weeks or weekends. We can arrange accommodation or you can stay in a Wigwam at the Centre. Whether you are interested in just one activity, a full day or a number of sessions to develop specific skills, we can create a programme for you. We are open all year. Business Qualifications
We have a AALA license. Which means our activities and instructors have been inspected by an external assessor and our activities meet the national requirements expected from an activity centre.

Business Staff & Management
All our staff are experienced and qualified in the activity they teach. They are all self employed freelance instructors who earn a living from sharing the activities they love. All instructors hold a valid first certificate and CRB

Business Clients
We have clients from schools or all ages and types, youth groups, family groups, celebration parties, Corporate groups, stag and hen parties. Anyone who is interested in trying out a new activity or develop their skills and learn new interests.
