Often described as one of Yorkshire’s best kept secrets, this fine art gallery has over the years earned the reputation as a place to view and purchase a wide range of works by local, national and international artists.
Exhibitions change monthly and feature an extraordinary wide range of artists, media and subject matter. Contemporary artists who regularly exhibit at the gallery include Norman Ackroyd CBE RA, Jason Hicklin RE, Jonathan Trowell NEAC, Ann Kilvington and Colin Britton BWS.
Zillah Bell Gallery holds a vast collection of Norman Ackroyd's etchings, some of which are listed on the shop page. If the print is still in edition, it can be purchased from the gallery.
Zillah Bell Art Gallery, 15 Kirkgate, Thirsk, North Yorkshire, YO7 1PQ is open Monday to Saturday, 10am-1pm and 2-5pm.
