We began our journey in 2004, when we purchased the existing business and immediately invested a great deal of time and effort into providing exemplary service and a wide range of quality, competitively priced products to our customers.

Nestled in this idyllic Yorkshire spa town, our little pet shop has grown and grown in popularity, to the point where we have run out of space to put things!! James is very good at filling any spare floor, wall and ceiling space with new products!!

Hence why we have now decided to launch our own website! It's the only way we can grow beyond the four walls of our wonderful shop and deliver our exemplary service and products to the rest of the UK!!

We stock top quality products and market leading dog and cat foods at low, low prices ! All products we sell are backed by our 100% satisfaction guarantee, and we are not satisfied unless you AND your pets are !!!

We are very experienced in animal behaviour and training, and offer an unrivalled holiday boarding service for over 100 small animals. We will also make house visits in the local area to feed your cats or dogs during the day whilst you are away on holiday.

We breed Netherland Dwarf, Mini Rex and Mini Lop Rabbits and sell a fantastic competitively priced range of quality accessories, cages and hutches. We also sell Guinea Pigs, Fancy Rats, Syrian and Winter White Hamsters.
Through our enviable network of animal husbandry experts, we are also able to offer our customers an unrivalled pet sourcing service, where we can order just about any pet you can think of; be it reptile, mammal, fish, bird or insect life, just let us know and we will see if we can get it for you!

We also stock an exciting range of freshwater tropical & coldwater fish, plants and accessories, as well as a comprehensive range of pond fish food, both live and frozen.

Stuart qualified as a HM Government lead Veterinary Medicines Directorate approved SQP in 2008, attaining top marks in his exam ahead of all others who sat the exam throughout the whole of the UK!
This extensive knowledge and understanding of animal care allows us to prescribe and dispense a range of veterinary medicines for your dogs, cats and small animal pets. Many of which only an SQP and a veterinary practitioner is allowed to sell.

All our staff are also very experienced and carry a detailed and extensive knowledge of animal behaviour & training, health & welfare matters, dietary & nutritional information and deliver an unrivalled standard of care for holiday boarding services. Stuart is also knowledgable in many areas of animal husbandry and breeding. He is also very experienced in avian care/behaviour and we also offer a bird boarding service so your beloved feathered friends can stay with us whist you are away on holiday!
