About
This family run historic Georgian hotel is set in two acres of Derbyshire hillside, and the majority of our rooms have beautiful views over the Derwent Valley, providing a peaceful environment in which to relax and unwind. The main A6 is only a short distance below, and follows the river through the "Little Switzerland" scenery of limestone cliffs and steep wooded slopes.
Services
In addition to the friendly bar and comfortable accommodation, we have two function rooms suitable for groups of 12 - 100 people. These can be used for weddings, parties, private dining, corporate functions, and business meetings. Catering can be provided for any function either as a buffet or table service meal.
Products
All fourteen well-appointed bedrooms are fully en-suite, with bath and shower facilities and equipped with flatscreen televisions with freeview, hot drink facilities and direct dial phone. Most rooms have WiFi.
With four real ale handpulls and at least one scrumpy cider on draught our Chatsworth Bar is an ideal place to relax with friends and enjoy good quality real ale. We have gained several CAMRA awards for the quality of our real ale. Food is served Monday to Saturday 6pm - 9pm, Sunday lunch 12pm - 4pm and Sunday evening 5pm - 8pm. All of our food is freshly prepared on premises from good quality, locally sourced ingredients.
Qualifications
Our Chatsworth Bar has gained several CAMRA accolades for the quality of the real ale, including Matlock and Dales Pub of the Year 2009.
