Your 7 mile trip starts in Coalport, Ironbridge Gorge. We provide all the equipment including free minibus transport. We allow up to 4 hours to paddle the route which gives you time to enjoy the beautiful Shropshire countryside and enjoy a picnic break as you float along.
For our 10am and 11am trips, after parking your car in Severn Park, Bridgnorth our free minibus shuttle will transport you up river to the start point in Coalport.
After paddling down river your trip finishes in Severn Park, Bridgnorth where your vehicle is parked. There are lots of cafes, pubs and shops in the historic market town of Bridgnorth to enjoy or you can sit and relax in Severn Park by the river.
You can choose from a double or single sit-on-top kayak or a 2/3 seater canoe. Our mini-rafts are especially popular with families with children who prefer to all be in the same boat, and can fit between 2 and 5 people (minimum of 2 adults per raft). If you’re feeling a bit more adventurous then have a go on our mega stand up paddleboard which holds between 5-6 people (up to 8 people if there are children in your group).
We welcome children from the age of 4 and over on our canoe, kayak and mini-raft hire and children over the age of 10 on our mega SUP hire.

At the end of the trip in Jackfield you can stop by the Black Swan Pub overlooking Jackfield Rapids, enjoy a drink at the Half Moon Pub sitting by the river, visit the Jackfield Tile Museum or stroll down to the Maws Craft Centre where there are lots of things to see and do. You can also walk the 10 minutes back into Ironbridge, stopping at the Bedlam Furnace and of course the great iron bridge itself. Ironbridge has lots of small independent shops to visit and many pubs and cafes where you can enjoy a bite to eat.
