We provide high-quality, reliable pet care at our home or the clients. All types of pets and birds catered for. Pet visits within a 5 mile radius of Shenley, Radlett, Hertfordshire. Dog boarding (live as family), boarding of small furrys such as rabbits and birds. Experienced also in most types of smallholding animals and horses.
Services
I offer pet care at your home or ours. Services include pet sitting, pet services such as home and pet visits (however many times you require per day), doggie day care, pet boarding, dog walking, dog and puppy boarding, cat care, puppy care, puppy training, rabbit care, bird and aviary care, chicken and poultry care, horse and pony care, fish care, garden watering, maintenance and plant care, home security checks.
Staff & Management
I am in my 50's and understand the need for absolute reliability when it comes to petcare. I love all animals and have lifelong experience owning and caring for many domestic pets, equines and smallholding animals. I ran my own national housesitting company, HouseMinders Limited, from 1998 to 2010, when I decided to retire from this and concentrate solely on local petcare. I have also run/managed my own professional livery yard responsible for the care and wellbeing of 24 horses.
Totally reliable, professional and experienced; I will always turn up whatever the weather in my 4WD and can be totally relied upon to look after my clients' pets in the loving and caring manner they are used to. Through my experience, I can quickly recognise and deal with any sickness, injuries or problems whilst pets are in my care and can make an accurate assessment should an animal require veterinary attention. I also have excellent family back-up should the need ever arise, but I am healthy and this rarely occurs. Must be the fresh air! I am of course fully insured.
Along with my partner Spencer, also a huge animal lover, we have our lovely rescue dog Bella and two rescue chickens, Grace and Purdy, who roam freely most of the time in the back garden; I also own a Welsh Section D Pony called Jenna who is quite a character! In the past I have owned numerous dogs, cats, birds, small furries, horses, pigs, sheep plus many others.
You don't have to own a pet for me to call - I am happy to carry out house security checks and plant watering as well.
Clients
Our service is personal and confidential and our clients are people who love their pets dearly and know their animals are far happier looked after in their own home rather than going through the stress of being left in kennels or catteries.. We treat everyone and their pets with the same respect, care and courtesy . In the main our business comprises of regular clients, repeat business and referrals. We not only care for the animals in the way they are used to, but we also ensure our clients' homes are left secure at all times and we keep the garden and houseplants alive too.
