Business Description

Here at Rowlands Furniture Centre Ashford we have the largest selection of Solid Oak, Pine and Sheesham as well Glass furniture in the area.

We have Dining room sets, bedroom furniture, cupboards, dressers, side table, occasional tables and dozens of other categories.

Our showroom has several thousand items, and covers 10,000 square feet over two floors.

In addition to furniture we also stock a large range of gift items including Betty Boop and Disney characters, vases and unusual glassware.

We also stock a large selection of mirrors and pictures and prints.

Rowlands Furniture Centre Ashford is a family run business established in 1995 by Doug Smith, which has grown to be one of the largest furniture shops in the area, with over 40 different suppliers. Our aim is to give individual service to our customers and supply high quality furniture at unbeatable prices.

In 1979 Doug and his father Ernie, a French polisher, started a business selling antique furniture at Staines Antiques (see our Antiques page).

The shop has been trading over 30 years and has a good and varied selection of old and antique furniture.

It also has a repair and restoration workshop. In 1995 with the demand for pine furniture growing Doug opened a second shop Rowlands Pine Centre, in Ashford.

Originally Rowlands had only 1 showroom and a small storage area. Over the years Rowlands has expanded to 10 Showrooms which contain a huge selection of pine and oak furniture. There is also a very varied selection of small items including Lamps, Mirrors, Prints, Disney Characters, Clocks and much, much more.

To the rear of the building there is a large warehouse which holds a considerable amount of stock for immediate delivery or collection. We also have a workshop where we can meet customers requirements for special colours and finishes.
