About
N.Bloom & Son was established by my maternal grandfather in 1912. The company originally manufactured and dealt with silver and plate to the trade. In the 1960s we opened our first retail shop in Mayfair, and started dealing in old jewellery. After a succession of Mayfair shops, the last shop closed in 2005 and I now trade via the internet, or by meeting clients in London.
Services
I continue to sell interesting items of old jewellery via my website. I look for items for collectors. If you have jewellery to sell, I can usually negotiate an immediate sale at more than you will get selling by auction, as salerooms now take up to 45% of the price paid by the buyer, and it takes months. I get you an immediate offer, with immediate payment. I am happy to offer advice gained by nearly 60 years in the trade.
Products
I sell high quality Antique, Victorian, Edwardian, Deco, Retro and later items of jewellery, and some Roman items, all pre-owned, and free of VAT
Qualifications
Retail Jeweller of the Year 2003. I am a Freeman of the Goldsmiths Company and of the City of London. I was for 32 years a BBC Antiques Roadshow 'expert' on jewellery and silver. I was for many years a dealer/director of LAPADA, resigning when I closed my last shop. I have written two books on silver for the Antique Collectors Club, and various newspaper and magazine articles.

In our shops in Mayfair and at antiques shows in UK, USA, Singapore, Hong Kong and elsewhere we have dealt with every type of client, from all parts of the world, including rock and film stars. Our clientele has been too diverse to specify.
