Welcome to Little Linens, a vintage inspired collection of 100% linen clothing for babies and children.

The designer Keely Deiniger has collected vintage linen treasures for the past 25 years with the aim of putting together a collection that combines the nostalgia of times gone by with the modernity of today.


The finest 100% linen has been used as it is one of the purest cloths there is. It is light and comfortable, and has a coolness and absorbency that make it ideal for sunny days. In cooler weather, it also retains body heat. It is an ideal fabric for children's sensitive skins and especially good for those with skin conditions, such as allergies and eczema, because it has a natural pH balance. Linen also absorbs and releases stains like no other fabric and is completely washable at both high and low temperatures, without losing any of its excellent properties, texture or shape.

Linen is very environmentally friendly. It comes from flax and every part of the plant is used. The finest fibres are used to make linen fabrics and the by-products are used to make everything from oil to cattle feed to bank notes and fibre board. Waste is minimal and any chemicals used are always fully treated before disposal.

Services

The Little Linens collection is a celebration of the craft of needlework. Each garment has been made using fine linen cloth. We have washed all our garments to remove shrinkage and make them wonderfully soft. The garments are all machine washable so they can be worn every day, not just for special occasions. The buttons are mother-of-pearl, drilled from real sea shells, as they would have been on garments made 100 years ago.

Products

The timeless designs are enriched with beautiful detailing, such as hand embroidery and crochet. The cut of the garments are simple and timeless – they are both classic and casual.
