Well organised home-owners will appreciate help with correspondence or important telephone calls.
We can assist those with physical disabilities or sensory impairment.
People will continue to take pride in their home. Your carers will carry out light housework e.g. vacuuming, dusting and washing up, general cleaning, personal laundry, ironing, lighting the fire or bringing in fuel.
These are just a few of things that a carer can help with, so that your Aunty, Mum, Dad or dearest son or daughter are able to stay at home, independently, for as long as possible.
Prior to going out to deliver care in the homes of our customers, we ensure that all of our carers are equipped with the right skills, knowledge and experience. Our experienced care training manager, oversees each training session delivered by our vastly skilled team of care trainers. Upon graduating from our Centre of Excellence, our support workers continue to receive training to aid their personal development. This includes the Helping Hands Level Two Diploma in Health and Social Care, and training in specific conditions – such as Dementia care training.
It doesn’t stop there, however.
We see the combination of experience and on-going home care training as the key to success. You or your loved one’s live-in carer will continue to receive support and training after they’ve come into the home to deliver care.
With this approach we allow you to rest assured that the care you or your loved one is receiving is of the best quality standard.
