Business Description

My little venture started February 2014. I hand make personal gifts. As with all Patchwork there are 'NO RULES.'

The items can be any colour, any combination, any which way you choose to go.

At present I am still in early stages of my new venture, I work from home and it is just me, my hands and my sewing machine.

I work at present from my website and FB Business Page.

I am setting up my work room in my dining room where everything I need is at hand and safe.

Business Services
I provide handmade boxes, shoppers, quilts, Mb/Glasses cases, Needle Cases, and more as the idea's pop into my head.

My boxes at present have been made to order but am working on smaller sizes for general sale.

Business Products
My boxes are Hexagon Round, Japanese Style and Hexagon Roll. Fabric both inside and out plus wading.

I am venturing into Baby, Wedding and Anniversary Boxes.

My shoppers are lined, wadded, quilted if desired. Patchwork square or strips, anything goes. Large or small.
Two to date have been Themed, one went to Africa on Safari, the other going to the Caribbean this Christmas.

My Cot and Pram quilts and any other smaller quilting items are made on the sewing machine.

Business Qualifications
Taught to sew by mother, crochet by grandmother. I attend Craft Club which is run by a C&G longstanding teacher.

Business Staff & Management
Just myself, I work as if I go out to work. Hours 10.30 - 4pm, with an answer machine if unable to get to the telephone. I maybe cutting boards for boxes or measuring fabric.

Business Clients
My clients started from an acquaintance who has also started her own business recently with the help of the Job Centre, her daughter whom I have never met wanted Mothers Day Gifts and I made two Japanese Style boxes, another lady ordered a shopper and medical bag. Other orders have come from FB. Others are birthday gifts.
