The under 17s driver training course is designed to give young people a basic knowledge of driving before taking to the roads which will build their confidence and road awareness and make them better equipped to deal with oncoming traffic situations. I believe that by introducing driver education at an earlier age, young people will also become safer as pedestrians/cyclists/motorcyclists.
We can provide legal, young driver training for under 17’s with fully qualified, Driving Standards Agency approved driving instructors using dual-controlled cars.
The driving lessons for under 17s take place on approximately 3 miles of private road system on the outskirts of Winchester and also at our new sites in Bordon, Emsworth and Aldershot.

Young Driver Requirements
Drive B4 U Turn 17 can teach young drivers from age 10 provided they can reach the car pedals. Under 17’s do not require a provisional licence to participate in this driver training.

Qualifications
I am a grade 6 instructor which puts me in the top 6% nationally.
All driving instructors are subject to a regular test of continued fitness and ability to teach. The Driving Standards Agency grades each individual instructor on a scale of 1 (very poor) to 6 (very good). There are currently over 44,000 instructors in the UK and out of that number only 2630 are graded as the top grade 6.
