Heytor Energy Solutions are the trading name for Heytor Building Services Ltd.
The company decided to expand into renewable energies after a large contract opportunity was presented to us. The contract was to install solar PV systems on residential council houses in the Manchester area. We Sub-contracted for Premier Energy Solutions who was the company to win the prestigious contract to work in partnership with the local authority, Northwards Housing and the contract management company Carillion. The installations began in late 2011 and ended in late 2012. During this time we, as a company, installed Solar PV systems on over 300 houses. The size of the systems varied from as small as 8 panels per roof up to 16 panels per roof.
As the contract was on a rolling basis and we began to understand the importance of renewable energies and the increasing demand for them in homes and commercial properties, we chose to attain MCS Installation certification. We successfully passed all the assessments required and became officially certificated on 18/05/2012, enabling us to provide Solar PV installations.
Since the Carillion contract has ended we have been putting into place the foundations to start offering Solar PV installs. As we don’t have large overheads and the staff members are multi-trained, we are able to offer competitive prices that some large corporations would struggle to compete with.

Staff & Management

We are a family run business with limited staff. The reason for this is we have multi-trained staff who can see various stages of the install through keeping the outgoings and overheads down allowing us to pass on this saving to the customer.
