Osteopathy has been in use since 1892 and has become a fully regulated alternative therapy since 1993 when the General Osteopathic Council was formed. I am a registered member of this body and adhere to their practice guidelines.
Almost any pain relating to the joints, muscles, ligaments and connective tissues that join them can benefit from Osteopathy. It is particularly effective in providing short-term improvement in pain and mobility following an acute episode of low back pain. Osteopathy can relieve tension headaches where the underlying cause is stiffness and tension in the neck. Osteopaths also treat a number of conditions related to the workplace such as repetitive strain injuries (RSI, also known as work related upper limb disorder) and can provide preventive advice.
You don’t need to wait to be in pain to enjoy the benefits of Osteopathy, it can also help you enhance performance in sport by improving your posture and enabling the body to work at its optimum.
I am dedicated to optimizing your health and prevention of reoccurring conditions, I am aware of how frustrating and debilitating pain can be.
I exercise a “whole person†approach to treatment and see not just as neck pain or back pain but as an individual. The osteopathic treatment you receive will address the musculo-skeletal or structural integrity of your body. Treatment is tailored to you and your needs and this is what makes osteopathy stand apart from some other forms of treatment.

Services
Osteopathy is a safe, effective, integrated approach to the treatment of a wide variety of conditions.
Why not see if osteopathy can help you achieve a better quality of life. The aim of osteopathy is to correct problems in the body frame, making it easier for the body to function normally and reducing the chance of problems occurring in the future. In seeking to maintain good health and prevent future problems. The osteopath`s plan may include advice on posture, diet, lifestyle and stress. While osteopaths are perhaps best known to the general public as specialists in treating disorders of musculoskeletal system, osteopathy is actually a complete (holistic) primary healthcare discipline not just for bad backs and stiff necks.
We treat a range of injuries or conditions including:
• Back and Neck pain
• Joint pain
• Nerve pain/sciatica
• Muscle/tendon pathologies(Achilles tendonitis,tennis elbow)
• Sports injuries
• Repetitive strain injuries (carpal tunnel)
• Posture related compensations (frozen shoulder)
• Tension Headaches
• Asthma (in terms of releiving some of the associated tension)
