Based in Burton on Trent, in the heart of the UK, the staff at ECL are specialists in custom cable assembly, box and enclosure builds incorporating many years of cable harness, looming and sub-contract expertise. ECL has a cable assembly harness and box, enclosure build production department organised to give clients a fully tested, high quality product. Offering a custom cable assembly and harness design facility that includes the choice & sourcing of components as well as producing bespoke cable solutions. This wealth of experience and knowledge enables the smooth transition from assistance with design to reality and supply of the finished assemblies
Services
ECL's manufacturing capability spans simple wire processing, wiring harnesses, wiring looms; through to more complex cable assemblies, electro-mechanical sub assemblies, box, enclosure or unit builds. The commitment of ECL's staff to deliver manufacturing excellence on all products remains constant, all work at ECL is manufactured to ISO 9001:2008 standards.
Machines in the factory include semi-automatic Molex, JST, AMP / Tyco presses along with a vast array of hand crimping tools, IDC presses Cirris and Cablejog testing rigs and several cutting and stripping machines.
All assemblies produced are RoHS compliant.
Help with cable design and component choice includes wire and connector specifications. This can aid a low cost, effective solution whilst maintaining quality and availability. From your initial designs or a site visit from an engineer, we can advise in the production of drawings, component specification through to prototype samples and manufacture.
