Our business was established in 1948 by my Grandfather Cyril and his brother Charlie. We protect their reputation by looking after our customers best interests and upholding The Drakeford Bros work ethic.
We are a modern thinking, but traditionally trained painters and decorators, dedicated to quality workmanship and high standards. We are competitively priced with no compromise on quality. We decorate inbetween Leeds and York but can travel nationwide for large projects.

Drakeford Bros painters and decorators go to great lengths to ensure that the quality of our preparation is matched to the final finish of the paint work and paper hanging. This means meticulous attention to detail, filling in any cracks or damaged areas. This is especially important to ensure a good finish when painting on woodwork.
This takes a little extra time but makes all the difference to the end result! We have methods of covering stains from dampness if the surface is dry and sometimes recommend an additional coat to ensure a full change to a new colour finish.
