All the Instructors in the DPA team are Associates, which means in essence they work for themselves but own a stake in the business, becoming a DPA instructor is not easy. Instructors must pass all 3 elements of the DSA, ADI test and demonstrate that they not only have the knowledge to train but also the sensitivity, patience and empathy to be great teachers. We do not allow trainee Instructors to give lessons for DPA.



We aim to build up your confidence in all types of driving situations and pass on all the knowledge you will need to develop your skills for a safe and enjoyable future on the road.

Services

Learner Driver Training


We provide learner drivers with safe, informative and enjoyable training in all aspects of vehicle control and handling. Our friendly driving instructors have many years of professional experience, and are able to impart the neccessary knowledge at a pace suitable to each individuals needs. At DPA we set out to make the experience of learning to drive not only safe and speedy but also enjoyable.

We provide help and support in all aspects of the process starting with the Hazard Perception/Multiple choice test through to the driving test and beyond to pass plus and motorway driving.

Products

Intensive Course

Intensive courses for new drivers are normaly completed over a 10 day period Monday to Friday 4 hours per day covering 40 hours tuition, a further 3 hours are allowed prior to the test and 1 hour for the period of the test itself. We can of course tailor your course to suit your needs and experience, it may be that you have had some tuition and need a few days intensive training to bring you to test standard or you may have recently failed a test and need some intensive training prior to the next test date. Whatever your situation just give us a call and we will be pleased to discuss the best package for you.



Refresher Training

Perhaps you have already passed your test and haven't driven for some time, or maybe you just need a little confidence boost with your driving.

Whatever the reason DPA can provide patient, and constructive assistance to polish up your skills and have you back on the road a more confident and able driver.

Qualifications

All our Instructors are fully qualified ADIs and DSA approved Green Badge Holders. Many are Institute of Advanced Driving Members and are qualified to teach IAM techniques.
