Business Description

Deptford Green is a successful and high achieving school. In September 2012 we will open our £32 million state-of-the-art building and launch our international sixth form, where students will be able to opt for the academically rigorous International Baccalaureate, as well as traditional post-16 courses. Our success stems from the positive relationships throughout our school community and from ensuring our students develop resilience and responsibility, as well as achieving excellent results. Our results are at record levels and we are in the top 10 per cent of schools in the country for achievement. Around a fifth of our students also gain an outstanding five or more A and A* at GCSE. We have kept our class sizes small to further enhance our students’ learning. We offer access to a challenging range of subjects at GCSE including astronomy, Chinese, Spanish, applied mathematics and triple sciences. Students can attend our thriving Saturday school to allow them to take extra GCSEs. Most of all, our students enjoy coming to Deptford Green.
