Back in Balance Massage

Helen Keevil
BSc Hons Sports Therapy

I am a fully qualified & insured Human, Equine & Canine Therapist working in the Salisbury, Bournemouth and the New Forest Area.

From competition horses to recreational use, all horses can benefit from massage & spinal therapy as it can help to:

*Increase mobility and range of motion
*Increase fluidity and presence of pace
*Improve and reduce recovery time following competition
*Reduce the risk of injury
*Reduce pain and discomfort
*Promote relaxation and a sense of well-being

I also offered to look at the rider as well as the horse, as one can often affect the other and reduce your ability to work as a harmonious team. Many people develop sore tight muscles in their neck, shoulders and back through every day activities that can hinder you when riding, as you can not relax and move freely with your horse. Massage can help to relive these tensions and promote a more united outcome with your horse.

Dogs are as likely to suffer with sore and tight muscles with their active lives, exacerbated by jumping into and out of cars, and from high surfaces. These impacts can cause a lot of discomfort. Massage and Spinal Therapy aims to reduce this, promoting freer movement and relaxation.

As a sports therapist I am see a lot of clients with sporting injuries, wanting to return to sport and full fitness. I can help them achieve this with therapeutic massage, specifically tailored to your individual situation, and a suitable plan to help you on your road to recovery.

Massage is also very beneficial for people with exhausting and stressful lives as it can:

*reduce stress and tension
*promote healing and relaxation
*reduce muscle knots and pain
*promote a sense of happy well-being
*reduce your risk of injury

I am fully qualified and insured and offer an at home service with my own massage table, as many people prefer the comfort of their own surroundings as they lead busy lives and this also helps them to relax.

1/2 hour is £20
45 minutes Full Body is £30

Please call me a free consultation and to discuss further how massage and spinal therapy can benefit you, your horse and your dog.

I look forward to hearing from you.
