Allemby Hunt Limited was established in 1999 to focus on Executive Search and Recruitment in Financial Markets. Seeing a niche for a dedicated, professional firm that addressed the demands and requirements of its clients the company sought to provide a tailored service for each and every client.
We pride ourselves on knowing the markets in which we operate and have built a successful business on a demonstrable understanding of the recruitment world allied with a thorough understanding of the markets in which we specialise. Each sector team operating within Allemby Hunt is a blend of experience from both the sector in which it operates and recruitment generally. Staff & Management
Alastair Johnstone, CEO
Alastair spent twenty five years in Investment Banking working for such global institutions as Morgan Grenfell, Deutsche Bank, Rabobank and latterly Commerzbank. In his last role at Commerzbank he was Global Head of Institutional Coverage responsible for a team of individuals located around the world managing the banks relationships with Insurance and other Non Bank Financial Institutions. Alastair, a regular user of Allemby Hunt while at Commerzbank joined the company in March 2007 as Chief Executive with the aim of providing proven management skills to oversee the growth and expansion of the business.
Hugo Hunt, MD
Hugo has over 20 years' experience of the recruitment industry embracing a number of different sectors. Having started his working life in the teaching profession a change of career direction into recruitment began with a move to a large London agency. He progressed to a specialist search and selection consultancy before establishing Allemby Hunt as a dedicated search entity for the financial services market. Most recently he has specialised in the recruitment of front and middle office asset management staff and has recently developed a strong contact base within the Hedge Fund arena.
