Built in 1778 and now a Grade II Listed building, Lowbyer Manor Country House is tied into the industrial heritage of Alston, having been built by Greenwich Hospital, London with income from the local lead mines owned by the hospital. Come and relax in our guest lounge with a roaring log fire or enjoy a bottle of local ale in our snug bar. Free parking is available in our courtyard. We are both walker and cyclist friendly offering bike storage and drying facilities.
