I got married to my husband in St Paul's Cathedral in the OBE chapel. I hired Amanda as my wedding planner and I am very glad that I did. From the time I hired her until the wedding day Amanda was supportive, very professional and took care of everything so that I was completely relaxed and stress free right up til the wedding day. My husband and I agree that hiring her was the best money we spent on the wedding. We had a wonderful wedding day. I used Ardley for on-the-day coordination of my wedding. I had done most of the planning myself, and needed someone to take over sorting out setting up the reception and overseeing arrangements on the day so I and my family didn't have to. It worked very well for me - Amanda took over all of the final confirming of the suppliers and receiving things on the day, which was great, and she liaised with the venue, which took a lot of the stress away in the last few weeks. On the day itself, she was there early with her assistant Emma and they set up all the tables, including laying out the place cards and arranging decorations, and they did a great and very creative job. They kept an unobtrusive eye on everything and acted as troubleshooters, sorting out hitches with food and drink and continuity so I didn't even notice them happening. All the family commented on how good they were and what a difference it made - we had done my brother's wedding in the same venue a year previously and everyone had been very stressed out about that, so it was nice that this was different. For what I wanted, they were the cheapest I found, but had all sorts of good ideas and tips which helped me - it was surprisingly easy to let go of all the details and just know I was in safe hands. Amanda did an brilliant job of organising my Hen Party, 3 nights in Blackpool.
Having someone organising my Hen do made this so much easier, less stress, as Amanda kept in contact with me throughout with updates and dates to pay by.
Once we got to the hotel we were staying in everything had been sorted out, and there were a few issues but Amanda dealt with these in a professional and efficient way so there was no disruptions to my special time.
Amanda is also helping me with my Wedding Preperations, and sending me links to sites once I explain what I am looking for and has saved me alot of money and time. I have found some wonderful ideas with her help.

Hiring Amanda from Ardley Weddings and Events was the best thing I ever did for my birthday party. My husband and I decided not to use them for our wedding 6 months prior to my birthday, seeing as the place where we held our wedding said they provided a wedding planning service included in our price. It was the biggest mistake not to stick with Ardley Weddings to help us and so, a disastrous wedding followed. We decided to make my birthday a mini wedding reunion to try and celebrate our marriage as well as my birthday seeing as we hadn’t had any time to enjoy our big day. It never would have been the fantastic turn out had I not gone to them.

From the minute we met Amanda, I adored her. She was warm, charismatic and most importantly she made me feel that nothing was impossible. We could tell that she wanted to do a good job. Although I was a client, I’d like to think that these ladies are now my friends too.

I come from background in customer service, so I have a very high standard from what I expect when I am paying someone for a service. In my opinion these ladies did a perfect job for me. They were always available: Sundays, holidays and late evenings. Any time I would contact them, they would get back to me within an hour and I was never made to feel that I was troubling them. I know they had other projects on at the same time we were planning my event, however I was never aware that they did. It seemed that they were just there for me.

They make it very clear to their clients and to other companies they use during the event organization, that they have been hired to fulfill someones dreams and desires and they don’t let you down. They are straight forward and always to the point, and this lacks in a lot of companies nowadays.

She forgets nothing and this never failed to impress me. Between the two of them, they create the perfect duo to give you just what you wanted. They are really hands on, and like to get involved themselves and this saved me so much cash.

I would recommend them to anyone, planning an event. Ardley Events will not let you down. I definitely plan to use them in the future for any events that I might need help with. I hope they are still working in ten years time when my husband and I renew our vows in the wedding we always dreamt of but never had. Only then, will we know for sure that our day will be perfect.

PERFRECT! That is the way I describe our wedding day.
That is everything. All the things Amanda helped me with came together in one place, the reception hall, a hall we hired in a local club. Basic dark wood dance floor, simple dark cream curtains that I imagined could look good.
As I had planned most of the wedding I asked for Ardley Weddings and Events to help out of the day as I could not oversee this myself.
I had an image of what I wanted and gave Amanda my table plan and the decorations I wanted.

I arrived at the hall and was redirected another friend to it.

WOW!!

It was so amazing that I promptly burst into tears of joy and called my new husband over to look.

Amanda with a few helpers did such a great job. They coordinated everything the way I wanted it and liaised with the stewards of the hall, making sure that it was as perfect as I had wanted it. Even the area where the cake was and the guest book was 100% better than I actually imagined.

I am recommending Ardley Weddings and Events to everyone I know, passing their details online and asking friend to pass the website on to their friends.

In addition to this Amanda was ready to help in the run up and promptly replied to emails that I had sent asking for help with finding suppliers for things I had not idea where to look to start with.
